Xiaomi's newest flagships are getting closer to their European debut. Italian retailer Epto has put up listings for the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max ahead of their international launch, giving us our clearest look yet at what buyers in Europe can expect to pay and what will be different from the Chinese models.

The two phones were unveiled in China back in September, and Xiaomi confirmed a day later that both would go global. Now the first European listings reveal prices, storage options, colors and a few notable changes.

European Prices and Storage

The Xiaomi 18 Pro shows up in two versions. The 12GB RAM model with 256GB of storage is listed at €1,398.90, while the 12GB model with 512GB of storage costs €1,591.90. The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max comes in a single configuration with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, priced at €1,783.90.

Some Pro Max listings in white and Velvet Red, carrying different model numbers, are slightly cheaper at €1,761.90. These figures sit a little below the €1,449 and €1,849 starting prices that leaked last week, though retailer listings do not always match final recommended prices.

Colors: Europe Gets Velvet Red

Both phones are listed in black, white and Velvet Red. That last color is the interesting one. In China, the standard range is black, white, pink and blue, and red is only available as a Transparent Special Edition with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.

Europe looks set to get a regular red option instead, while blue and pink appear to be skipped.

Smaller Batteries for Europe

The listings also confirm that the European versions will carry smaller batteries than the Chinese models. The Xiaomi 18 Pro drops from 7,000mAh to 6,000mAh, and its wired charging speed falls from 100W to 90W.

The 18 Pro Max goes from 8,500mAh down to 7,050mAh, but it keeps its 100W wired charging. Epto also lists endurance figures of 66 hours for the Pro and 70 hours for the Pro Max per charge cycle, along with a rating of 1,000 charging cycles for both phones.

Performance and Software Stay the Same

Thankfully, not everything changes for Europe. The chipsets remain the same as in China, with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 powering the 18 Pro and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 inside the 18 Pro Max. Both phones also run HyperOS 4 out of the box.

Price and Availability

There is no official launch date for Europe yet, and these are retailer listings rather than an announcement from Xiaomi itself. Final prices could still shift slightly, but the message is clear: these will not be cheap phones.

Final Thoughts

The European listings answer several big questions about the Xiaomi 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max, from pricing to colors to battery sizes. The smaller batteries are a disappointment compared to the Chinese models, but the Velvet Red option and the unchanged flagship chips soften the blow.

Now all eyes are on Xiaomi's official global launch for confirmed prices and a release date.
